I was debating on whether or not to write this, but have since decided that now that it has been a couple of days it is now funny to me. Here goes! On Friday of last week, I had a gift certificate to get a massage down at a great place in Bountiful. Since Rob was out of town, and the kids were in school I decided that I would schedule my massage to be finishing up at around the same time that the kids would be getting out of school. This was also possible because my car pool was picking up the kids. Trenten was babysitting once they got home for a little bit until I got there. As I was talking to the girl who gave me the massage I kept hearing my phone vibrate. I waited until I got to my car to see who it was and noticed it was the kids, and that I had missed several calls. I pushed redial and hit call and at the same time answer a frantic call from Kaytlin who was sobbing hysterically because she somehow "accidentally" dialed 911! I told her to answer the phone if they called our home phone and she said that they had already called 2x and that Trent didn't answer it because he didn't know if he should? SOOO Trent got on the phone with me and said "mom there are 2 police officers parked in our driveway and they are coming to our door, should I answer it?" I said yes and this is what he said to the Officer.
Trent - " Hi we are ok my mom is on the phone do you want to talk to her?
Police officer- Yes
Trent - "Ummm this little girl (apparently Trent didn't want to claim her at that moment) accidentally called 911 but everything is ok."
Police officer - Says to me "is this young man suppose to be here babysitting for you?
Me - Yes this young man is my son!
Police officer -says to Trent - Oh, so this little girl is your sister and this is your house?
Trent - Yes.....
Kaytlin who is still sobbing, not just because she accidentally called 911 but also because her sweet little brother so lovingly said to her "great Kaytlin now the cops are here and your going to get copped and taken to jail!"
The sympathetic police officer patted Kaytlin on the head and told her it was ok that accidents happen.
Thank goodness Trent has such a cool head and reacts well to things like this. I'm proud to say he didn't panic but was very mature in his response.

Austin when he was still awake, Trenten, and their cousin Andrew. They spent about an hour playing water football (Kaleb too). Nothing says I love you quite like water fooball - i've decided the funnest part about this game is slamming your younger cousin under the water so he can't get the ball from you! ( Trent and Kaleb both the older cousins were on the same team - Austin and Andrew the younger cousins on the same team sounds fair right?)
Happy New Year!

Just about every year we go to the Marriot Courtyard Hotel and spend our New Year's Eve playing games, swimmining, eating chocolate fondue, watching movies, eating more chocolate fondue, telling funny stories, laughing, and eating more chocolate fondue. It is so much fun! Austin rang in the New Year sleeping, he came into our room at about 10:00 and said very grumpily "i'm tired and there is no where for me to sleep because its to bright everywhere and there are to many people making noise!" So I told him to climb on the bed behind his daddy and go to sleep. He did just that and when I checked on him he had wrapped his blanky around his whole body and tucked his head under the pillow..... This pix is about 30 minutes later when he was dead to all the bright lights and noise.

A loose Toof
At dinner Austin was asking for his tooth to be pulled out so Rob said "oh Grandpa is the master tooth puller ask him if he will pull it out for you?" So Austin asked if Grandpa would pull it for him, and he of course said yes! So....... Grandpa worked on it for a while, and couldn't get it to come out. Then Grandpa and Rob got the pliers, and some dental floss and anything else that they could think of to get this loose tooth to come out, but it was just to hard to wrap there hot dog fingers around, meanwhile someone brought up the fact that Uncle Eric is almost a Dentist and that he is definately the most capable of pulling it out. Uncle Eric worked on it to for a while and then finally this loose tooth that was so determined not to come out budged. So now, as Austin would say I have one less toof in my mouth!
